Margaret Badejo, DNP, FNP-BC, DOT Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Margaret Badejo is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center. She completed her master’s and doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from the University of Texas in Arlington, and her Bachelor of Nursing from Texas Woman’s University.
She is an active member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL), Fort Worth Region Nurse Practitioners (FWRNP), Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and Sigma Theta Tau International.
Margaret immigrated to the United States of America (USA) over 30 years ago with a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science degree from the University of Benin and the University of Ibadan in Nigeria respectively. She obtained her first nursing license in the USA in 1999 and has been practicing as an NP since 2013. She has Licenses in multiple states with an initial license in the great state of Texas and other states licenses from AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, KS, LA, MA, MD, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OK, OR, OH, PA, RI, SD, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, & WY.
Dr. Margaret has experience of working with patients in brick-and-mortar and telehealth environments in hospital, primary, and retail clinic settings, seeing a variety of patients aged from 18 months to those over 100 years. These patients seek wellness exams, preventive visits, sports and camp physicals, or treatment for pain management. Acute care patient visits commonly involve strep throat, allergic rhinitis,
ear infection, gastroenteritis, and bronchitis. Chronic illness patients include those with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and more.
A mother of four children, three sons and a daughter who is currently an orthopedic surgeon resident at Duke. Margaret has enjoyed watching her boys participation in professional sports and college band activities.
